The Warrior Heroes of Kala Kay Set For Summerfest Debut This July

Tom Slot’s new full length comic play The Warrior Heroes of Kala Kay will debut at the Summerfest Theater Festival this July. The show will be directed by Tom Edmond Evans and stars Adam Brooks, Devin Davis-Lorton, Matt Dean Wood, Steven Flowers, Taylor Graves, Maureen O’Boyle, Caroline Pastilha, Kelsey Realtin, and Nicole Vaccaro.

After two seasons on the air, the medieval television show The Warrior Heroes of Kala Kay (picture The A Team meets Dungeons & Dragons. And it’s a musical.) has developed a strong cult following. But with lower than hoped for rating and the actor's contracts up for renewal, the network has decided to shake things up. When an obsessed fan discovers their plan and decides to take matters into her own hands, hilarity ensues in this farcical comedy that explores the business end of making art.

The Warrior Heroes of Kala Kay will play at the Hudson Guild Theater in New York City for three performances July 1 - July 7 2019.
